So- keep your fingers crossed for me, I am waiting on two things right now....

First- In theory, my car should be done by 4:30pm and my parents are going to pick it up for me.... Of course, who knows how much they'll try to squeeze my poor parents for! Plus- these are the same people that PROMISED ME my car before the show on Saturday... today is now approximately 4-5 days LATE.

Secondly, I'm bidding on a new phone on ebay. Hopefully it comes through because the one that I have now is looking worse for wear, and doesn't have that many features.

So- Today I work from 3pm-11pm, closing the store and such on my own.  Talked to the boss man and we're getting lunch (not pizza) since we're a small crew.  I'm supposed to get the Mustang back today, but apparently they're having problems with the interior, and the car show is tomorrow morning.  Yes folks- car or no car, I have to be at the car show at 6am, and then work again from 2pm-10pm.  Oh- and apparently my car needs a new idler arm (jigga-what?) and new front tires, but I knew that was coming.  Oh- and Russ has plans to paintball all day tomorrow in the woods- so without the mustang I'm car-less.  woe.....   or driving the Nova... woe^2...

Today I dropped the Mustang off at RDW Automotive to have my spankin' new interior installed.  Once the seats and carpet are done, all that is left for me:
1. Driver's Door Panel (I have this)
2. Dashboard paint (I have this)
3. Dashpad
4. Instrument Bezel (I have this)
5. Upohlster the center console
6. Upohlster random panels, etc.
7. Replace Headliner

So- Not too much work.  =)  And, I'm supposedly getting a spiffy new engine for her this summer.  That and a Vinyl top will make my baby complete.  YAY!!!!!! Nobody probably understands- but looking back on my purchase 5 years ago, and the car accident that almost totalled her 3 years years ago, I really couldn't ever imagine this happening.  SO FREAKING EXCITED to see my baby- supposed to have her back before Saturday- maybe as soon as Wednesday.  =) YAY!

The rest of my day was uneventful.  Russ was awesome and left me the rodeo for after I dropped my baby off and today was my little sister's 20th Birthday.  I got her a pool  =) and my parents got her a computer cabinet and chair.  My poor dad had to deal with Office Max because the one that he bought was supposed to be "complete" and "undamaged", but was actually missing all of the hardware, and one of the sides was BROKEN IN HALF.  So he had to go down there and take care of things.  Thus- I am the furniture assembling QUEEN.  And I'm dirty.  But it looks nice, and my sister was happy.

AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT- IT is damned beautiful outside.  I have 19 whopping days until commencement.  And I think I did well on my Horsemanship exam.   And I did get my paper turned in... Today is my Daddy's 55th Birthday.  =)  I miss being a little girl again.

Says my car... poor car... It was a quart low, and we got dirty, me and the car, and then the car got an anal probe, and poor CAR! didn't pass smog on the first try and the guy had to like... prod the car in the engine and then probe the car again before the car passed. Oy... now I must face the DMV if they're open tomorrow, or skip a class (horsemanship lecture) on Monday to register the poor car. OMG!!!!! Cherrry Vanillla Drrrr Pepperrrr Slurrrrrpeeeeeesss are tasty! And cold... tasty and cold. stupid Chaucer exam on monday, and I must write a paper for that class. I almost can't bring myself to do it. I'm a little worried about my suddenly slackened work ethic but... meh! And... after the week of lateness from hell! I FINALLY get to my Italian class, and Manca doesn't show, so I still have Wednesday's happy little assignment to turn in.
