So Friday was rather uneventful- Danny said he wanted to get his ears pierced so I took him to Sinful Skin and (as you already know) got another tattoo.  Didn't get drunk, and that's the closest to "do something stupid" as I got.  Actually we went to see Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters... which was also stupid.  And then, because he's a minor, we just drove around and hung out, went to Cue and Cushion for a bit.  I baked 7 doz. cookies on Saturday and made a delivery to Kinko's (You're welcome Sancho) before getting all shower fresh to run up to the dinner of oddness with friends from the car club.  Dinner was, mind you, awesome, because Bob and Colleen are more than pleasant, they're amazingly kind.  Yesterday there was house looking, and car stuff, and just general laziness and laundry.  My sinuses are trying to rend my head in twain... it's terribly unpleasant and painful and makes pouty.  Although I did get to watch some Doctor Who, which made me giggly and happy for a few minutes, till the pressure changed in my head again.  The couch and I are bonding- although I'm pissed at Fox Sports for cutting away from the Premiereship before I got to see if Everton won... damn!  Also- Russ is going to a friends to watch Hockey.

I think I'm going to make Russ get me a multi-region DVD player so I don't have to deal with this R1:R2 crap.  It's really stupid that these things are still different.  That being said- I sure do love the intarwebs. 

My kitty is so very cute.  Soot is all snuggled up with her paws under her head, sleeping on my Star Wars blanket that my in-laws got me for Christmas in 2005.  Yes, EVERYONE knows and accepts my geekdom.  =)  It is awesome.  I got this new lotion by Vaseline- it's for hands and nails, and it's awesome.  I recommend that everyone give it a try.  Ironically, in all of my years at UNR I've never been so anxious for the damned schedule to come out- until NOW.  OMG I WANT TO SIGN UP FOR CLASSES AND GET THE ANTICIPATION OVER WITH!  That is all...  "Who has a sonic screwdriver?" "I do!"  "Who looks at a screwdriver and thinks, 'Oooh, this could be a little more sonic,'?"  "What?  You've never been bored?  Never had a long night?  Never had a bunch of cabinets to put up?"

"One, we've gotta get outta here.  Two we can't get outta here.  Have I missed anything?"  
I love the writing... and honestly, the interactions and snark between Jack and the Doctor, ALWAYS fun.
