OMG is hot...  I rode my bike down to sushi and back, and even at nearly 9pm it is stupid hot.  And alas, for some reason I am having asthma right now.  I can haz shower tiemz plzkthnx?   Oh well! Lovely dinner with the Lovely Brown Family (herein out referred to as LBF).  Then I rushed home to meet Russ' bestfriend David and his little girl Kayla (o hai thar favorite godchild!) and help them get packed up in Russ' SUV since he's not using it. To top it all off, I had a job interview this morning to be a part time teller at a Credit Union, and I"m feeling rather optimistic about it all. Yep, despite the totally long nap this afternoon, I now feel as though I've accomplished SOMETHING.  Huzzah!

Cold of DOOM^tm has been heartily nearly defeated, yea verily!  All it took was an extra, 24 hours of sleep or some shit.  Still have a stuffy nose and cough, but my throat no longer feels as though I am tearing it open when I yawn/cough/swallow/breath/use it in any way.  I bought cute shoes.  So now I have Blue/White/Black Vans to replace the nearly identical Pink/White/Black ones I've had for a year, and a completely different looking pair of Brown/Pink ones.  I do not have a "Vans" problem, I only have 5 or six pairs thank you very much...  Oh... and I got Kayla the little baby Pink/White/Black ones... what?  She's my awesome godchild (I think I may have mentioned her 1 or 60,000 times), and it's my duty to ensure she's got rockin' shoes... what? Stop looking at me like that!

And with it- I have made a monsterous batch of cookies... Pumpkin/Ginger cookies with chocolate and butterscotch chips!
Tomorrow? Bread, and experiments in cheesecake!  There will be much baking and food in my house, for I ALREADY have the magic pasta making attachments.  It is written, it is so!  =)
